A STEP IN THE LIFE OF A CHILD WITH AGENESIS OF THE CORPUS CALLOSUM...

These pictures taken 8/12/2010 are the perfect example of how in the Serrano-Sandoval home no step is taken for granted! Here you can see how a single 1 inch step is difficult for Brianna to walk over, Brianna will be three next month and you couldnt imagine seeing a "typical" (I hate the word "normal") child having difficulty walking over the boarder around a door entrance right? Well it takes my child very careful steps, a lot of concentration, and lots of hard work to do a simple thing as take a step over this little boarder! For Brianna it took around 2 minutes of attempting of holding on to the door of balancing and of struggling over this little step! She usually puts one of her hands up to me as in asking for help walking over this step. She started walking at 2.5 years so she has been walking for about 5 months now and she still has lots of trouble with it. We are proud of how far she has come and her accomplishments... when she started walking it was some of our happiest days ever!

A step in the life of a child with AGENESIS OF THE CORPUS CALLOSUM!

Brie is determined to do what she wants whens he wants and she works very hard at it.

  1. Brie has such determination and I love that no matter how difficult something is for her she just keeps on taking one step forward.
